By unanimous vote of its board of directors, the Dallas Safari Club (DSC) has officially adopted the Boone and Crockett Club scoring system for measuring North American trophies taken by DSC members.

Mature whitetail deer learn to play hide and seek with hunters when they’re alive. This buck mastered the game for decades—even after it died. 

Today, the the Kyress buck is part of the King of Bucks collection at Johnny Morris' Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, Missouri.
 

Members of the Boone and Crockett Club were key players in laying the groundwork for both conservation of game species and generating the funds to pay for it—a system that we still use today.
