The Latest News in Conservation
America's optics authority, Leupold & Stevens, Inc., has renewed its long-standing partnership with the Boone and Crockett Club. The partnership has been critical in the advancement of the Boone and Crockett Club's mission to promote the conservation and management of wildlife and its habitat. The Club also seeks to preserve and encourage hunting while maintaining the highest ethical standards of fair chase and sportsmanship in North America.
"Conservation is a complex business of doing what is necessary today so there will be favorable outcomes tomorrow," said Boone and Crockett Club President Ben Hollingsworth Jr. "Successful conservation is also about collaborative partnerships. No one does it alone, from state and federal agencies to non-profits to local groups and rotaries. Leupold has been a friend to conservation and the Club for many years. Their innovations and products may get the most attention but their commitment to sportsmen, the traditions of hunting, wildlife, and the habitats that support them should not be overlooked."
Founded in Oregon more than a century ago, Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is a fifth generation, family owned company that designs, machines and assembles its riflescopes, mounting systems and tactical/Gold Ring spotting scopes in the USA. The product lines include rifle, handgun and spotting scopes; binoculars; rangefinders; mounting systems; and optical tools, accessories and Pro Gear.
"No optics company does more for sportsmen's rights and conservation across the United States than Leupold," said Riza Lesser, Strategic Partnerships Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. "The Boone & Crockett Club is the oldest wildlife conservation organization in North America - we're proud to be a longtime partner."
"Planting a seedling knowing that you may never rest in its shade or enjoy its fruit, but that someday someone else will, is the sign of a true conservationist," explained Hollingsworth Jr. "For Leupold, that someone is its loyal customers whose passion is hunting and shooting sports. The game we hunt does not happen by chance. It takes purpose and commitment. We're blessed to have partners like Leupold."
