When B&C established its Big Game Records Program, it was at a time in our history when many feared that a multitude of our big game animals in North America were headed for extinction. As unbelievable as it may seem in today’s world where big game populations are abundant, B&C’s Records Program’s initial intent was to “catalog” mature specimens in order to record valuable information about them in case they went extinct. As the hunter-conservationist movement marched on, and it became apparent that our efforts to save our wildlife were becoming successful, the Records Program’s focus changed into an ongoing record of the successes of wildlife conservation. As such, incredible trophies such as yours became the result.
We would like to take this time to encourage you to complete the necessary entry requirements and have your trophy join this important, historical, and select list.
Thank you for your interest in Boone and Crockett Club’s records-keeping activities. If you have any questions about completing the entry requirements, please don’t hesitate to call Boone and Crockett Club at (406) 542-1888 (ext. 204 or 205).
