The Boone and Crockett Club is proud to announce that Leupold & Stevens, Inc. has renewed their Silver Trailblazer in Conservation partner sponsorship, supporting the Club’s overall conservation mission. Additionally, Leupold offers a licensed Boone and Crockett reticle on its VX-3HD riflescope.

“Leupold’s continued commitment as a Trailblazer in Conservation significantly supports our mission to promote the conservation and management of wildlife, especially big game and its habitat. Their ongoing dedication helps us preserve and encourage hunting while maintaining the highest ethical standards of fair chase and sportsmanship in North America,” said Tony Schoonen, chief executive officer of the Boone and Crockett Club. “Our Trailblazers in Conservation sponsorship program is an opportunity for industry partners, like Leupold, to help us accomplish our mission, as well as giving them an opportunity to get actively involved in these efforts through the Club.”

Since its founding by Theodore Roosevelt in 1887 the Boone and Crockett Club and its members led the development of policies that protected federal public lands, developed the frameworks of modern game laws, funded conservation efforts, and reinforced the vision of sustainable use of our natural resources. Throughout its history, these accomplishments have been supported through strategic partnerships with state and federal agencies, policy makers, other non-governmental hunter-conservationist organizations, universities, and business and industry. The Boone and Crockett Club’s Trailblazers in Conservation partnership program aims to help today’s hunting community rise to the challenges of a changing world. Becoming a Trailblazer in Conservation shows the commitment from industry partners and others to support the mutual interests of scientific wildlife management, hunter ethics, and conservation advocacy.

“The Boone and Crockett Club has always been at the forefront of our nation’s critical conservation efforts,” said Bruce Pettet, president and chief executive officer for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “The Club has fought for hunters and their rights for more than 130 years. We’re proud to be a longtime partner in its mission to support the mutual interests of scientific wildlife management, hunter ethics, and conservation advocacy.”

“As one of 100 regular members of the Boone and Crockett Club, we know that Bruce and his company recognize both our history and the future role the Club plays in wildlife and habitat conservation. We value our partnership with Leupold and look forward to our continued relationship,” Schoonen concluded.
