Where Hunting Happens, Conservation Happens™
Thanks to the White Mountains, New Hampshire is sometimes called the Switzerland of America. Unlike Switzerland, though, Canada moose have a solid presence here. In fact, Coos County in the far north has been a stronghold for record-book Canada moose, especially in the 1990s. If whitetails are your thing, then Grafton County has a handful of entries, though it’s been a while since any bucks scoring over 200 have been entered. Fun fact: New Hampshire’s state animal is whitetail deer. Black bears have been getting big with more than a few top 10 state entries since 2000.
"The wildlife and its habitat cannot speak. So we must and we will."
