GASTON J. GLOCK style LP adds its name to the list of sponsors for one of North America's longest-running celebrations of big-game conservation and management - the Boone and Crockett Club 29th Big Game Awards, scheduled for July 14-16, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri.

The triennial Boone and Crockett Club 29th Big Game Awards will take place at the the Bass Pro Shops flagship store in Springfield. The event offers a public exhibition of World's Records and Top-5 trophies in all categories of native North American big game, plus records-book specimens taken during the past three years by hunters age 16 and under.

"This is an opportunity for the public to appreciate big game trophies for what they really are, symbols of the success of America's conservation system," said Club President Morrie Stevens. "The trophies on display are a result of sustainable use conservation and verification that science-informed programs are working to ensure wildlife for future generations."

Beate Arnold, CEO of GASTON® said, "International conservation is a global priority. We can think of no better way of celebrating the system in North America that has done so much for wildlife and people."

Stevens added, "Wildlife conservation is truly a global effort. The Boone and Crockett Club is pleased to see our international partners joining us in showing the world what is possible when man and nature work together."

In addition to the trophy exhibition, the event offers registered attendees a chance to enjoy a world-class museum and aquarium dedicated to the American sportsman, an auction featuring hunts in top trophy regions across the continent and evening awards banquets and presentations.

In October 2016, the Club will release its newest record book, 29th Big Game Awards. The next edition in its popular and collectible book series will feature nearly 4,000 new Boone and Crockett-qualifying trophies entered and accepted during the 29th Awards period (2013-2015) in 36 different categories of North American big game, from whitetail to walrus.

Boone and Crockett Club began keeping trophy records in 1906 as a way of detailing species once headed for extinction. Today, trophy data reflect population health and habitat quality. Biologists compare and contrast records to improve local management strategies as well as state and federal wildlife polices.

To date, the growing list of sponsors for the Boone and Crockett Club 29th Big Game Awards includes Wild Sheep Foundation, Federal Premium Ammunition, Dallas Safari Club, DNZ Products, Americase, Weatherby, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Kimber Manufacturing.
