An ethical code of conduct, that which was viewed as the right way to approach hunting, was a concept that originally developed in Europe. This did not, however, carry over with the settlers to the New World.
Good question. For the sake of this column, the word "antis" refers to those who are vocally opposed to hunting. Some may also be animal rights advocates, although not all.
Last week, Idaho Governor Brad Little signed a bill into law that restricts the use of certain technologies - including thermal imaging, night vision, drones, and transmitting trail cameras - when hunting big game and upland birds.
