As the organization that was founded by Theodore Roosevelt to reverse the decline of big game populations more than a century ago and has tracked their recovery ever since, the Boone and Crockett Club today reflects on the tremendous strides that have been made in wildlife and habitat conservation over the past several decades.

According to the Boone and Crockett Club animal rights and anti-hunting groups have again misconstrued the meaning of Fair Chase. This time, it involves baiting, which they claim should be banned because it is not Fair Chase.

Clemson developed a special online M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology degree program to educate and train natural resources professionals who are currently in the field, as well as non-traditional students who are in natural resources-related positions or working in the policy arena. Currently there are 75 students enrolled in the program from across the country.
