New Brunswick Provincial Big Game Records

New Brunswick, a picturesque Maritime province in eastern Canada, offers diverse hunting opportunities amidst its lush forests, rolling hills, and pristine waterways, providing outdoor enthusiasts with the chance to pursue a variety of game species while immersing themselves in the region's stunning natural beauty.

Not exactly a large province by Canadian standards, New Brunswick has enough big game to keep things interesting. Black bears are the most frequent entry, followed by Canada moose—the latter including some impressive bulls. A handful of whitetail deer round out the big game still entered from the province. More than 100 years ago, hunters entered a couple of woodland caribou before becoming all but extinct from the province. Only a handful of woodland caribou remain in the highlands of Gaspésie National Park.
